What is Survival Balm?
Survival balm is a multipurpose ointment made from a blend of natural ingredients such as beeswax, carrier oils, butters, and essential oils. It is designed to provide various benefits and aid in survival situations.
Key Ingredients:
- Wax (Usually Beeswax, but you can also use Candelilla, Carnauba or even Paraffin wax): Provides a protective barrier, helps the balm solidify.
- Carrier Oils (eg Sunflower, Rapeseed or Olive Oil): Moisturises, nourishes, and helps deliver other ingredients to the skin.
- Butters (eg Shea or Cocoa Butter... In an emergency you could even try lard or tallow!): Provides deep moisture and helps soften the balm.
